Designed for 24/7 365 days a year continuous use.   We approached this project with 2 things in mind: To design and build the very best and fastest computer system available today & make it the most reliable using readily available components.   We opted not to use liquid cooling because of problems encountered with that type of system.  One leak, which is fairly common, and your computer is damaged.  We took a more conservative and better approach using a Thermal Electric Cooler (TEC) to keep the CPU temperature low with environmental temperatures exceeding  120+ F.  We could not measure for higher temperatures because  we did not have the environmental testing chamber to make these measurements.  All air flow into the computer is filtered to keep dust and sand out.  Also, this method requires no additional maintenance. Unwanted moisture is controlled by our moisture remover and humitidy controller.   Our goal was to meet Mil-STD 810 but again we do not have the equipment to test all environmental parameters such as temperature and vibration.  In order to certify to Mil-STD 810 we would have to at least double the cost of this computer to have all the testing done by a private company.   This system is not over-clocked in any way. We do not believe in over-clocking since it can cause numerous problems with both software and hardware.  The performance can actually be degraded and the MTBF will increase.  Originally we were going to use the new Nvidia 9600 part number 01G-P3-N891-AR, 9800GX2 graphics card, but the 2-8800GTX  boards are approximately 30% faster and their reliability has been proven.  Designed to operate in harsh as well as office environments. Indoors or out,not in the rain or snow please.  All wires and cables are tied down for neatness and the minimization of crosstalk whenever possible.   Warranty:   We offer a limited lifetime warranty for all parts and labor should any component fail to the original purchaser only.  Not covered are acts of GOD caused by water or lightening strikes hurricanes, tornadoes, etc..  You must use a UPS (uninterruptible power source of the proper capacity,  with line voltage regulation and spike and surge protection to effectuate the warranty).  We can provide this to you at an additional cost in another Ebay Auction,  or you can buy your own.  The cheap surge protectors don't work! It is preferable that you connect the ground lug with the 10 gauge copper wire we included to either a cold water pipe or preferably a lightning rod for maximum protection (optional), but not necesaty..  This will protect the computer against lightning strikes.   Also, as part of the maintenance, you must clean 4 easy to get to filters every 6-9 months or sooner in a very dirty environment.     We indemnify Spectra R&E Corp, its owners, associates,  and all others from any data loss.  This means that as with all good practices, you should back-up all your data on a regular basis. We do have a redundant disk configuration for your maximum protecton. Available internal storage supplied is 2 Terabytes,  The other 2 Terabytes of drives are used for redundancy.   Over-clocking any of the componebnts will void your warranty.  This system is extremely fast  and over-clocking is not necessary or recommended.
