I bought it new in 1998, and I have been the only owner (and a careful owner). I have tested the Psion and it is fully working, just as it was when I bought it, including the screen, backlight, hinges, button bar etc.  There are no problems and no damage. I am also including the leather case which I bought separately, which was made especially for the Psion.  It's made from real leather, and includes a belt loop so you can attach it to your belt. I have the full user manual in electronic format (PDF format), which I can e-mail you.  Also, the Psion itself has extensive in-built help, and is quite intuitive to use too. About the Psion Series 3mx - there is a great review on this website, which tells you all about this fantastic handheld computer: http://www.epinions.com/content_52193037956 Batteries: The Psion uses standard 2 x AA batteries, which I've included so you can get going straight away.  A new set of batteries will easily last you 25-30 hours usage, and you can use rechargeables too. The Psion also uses a single CR2025 backup battery, which is not required for use, but is recommended as it protects the memory if the main batteries are taken out.  The CR2025 backup battery needs replacing - you can buy a pack of these very cheaply (under £3 on eBay when I last checked).
