Description
This computer is less than 2 months old. My Uncle bought it then passed away shortly afterward. He really only used it for 2-3 weeks. I would keep it, but we bought 2 of them at the same time. All books and software included, in the original packaging. Computer is MINT with absolutely no scratches, dings, or rubs. Like I said he used it VERY little before going into the hospital and eventually passing away. Details of it are below. And reserve is low, and free shipping to the lower 48 VIA Fedex if you buy using the "Buy it Now" price.Processor 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory 2GB (two SO-DIMMs) 667MHz DDR2 memory (PC2-5300) Display 17-inch (diagonal), 1680 by 1050 resolution, widescreen PCI Express Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 512MB of GDDR3 SDRAM and dual-link DVI Video Built-in iSight camera, DVI, VGA (DVI to VGA adapter included) Audio Combined optical digital input/audio line in, combined optical digital output/audio line out, stereo speakers, microphone Hard disk drive 250GB Serial ATA; 5400 rpm Slot-loading optical drive 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) Ethernet Built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T (Gigabit) Wireless Built-in AirPort Extreme (802.11n); built-in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Modem Apple USB Modem (sold separately) Input Full-size, illuminated keyboard with ambient light sensor; Multi-Touch trackpad Expansion One FireWire 400, one FireWire 800, three USB 2.0 ports, and ExpressCard/34 slot Weight 6.8 pounds Footprint 15.4 by 10.4 inches Thickness 1.0 inch Video accessories DVI to VGA adapter (other adapters sold separately) Hardware accessories 85W MagSafe Power Adapter, AC wall plug, power cord, lithium-polymer batteryOn Sep-07-08 at 11:18:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received several emails about the bottom line on this computer. I know Apple very well and I know what these are worth. I have been an apple user for close to 10 years. Seeing the light from Microsoft Products I made the switch. The reserve is really close to the buy it now price. Considering this is virtually a brand new computer. I consider that to be a low reserve. Retail is $2799 as I am sure most of you know. It has never been cracked open, refurbished or anything. It was literally used for about 2-3 weeks pretty much to check email only. When I got it, I promptly reloaded the machine with a fresh copy of Leopard. It has not been used since. I have had for almost a month and its been sitting in the box the entire time. Until I pulled it out to photograph for this auction. I tried really hard to find a way to keep it, but I couldn't justify keeping it around and not being used. My wife has her computer she is happy with, and I have mine which is identical bought at the same time, plus I have a Mac Pro being used as a Home Theater PC. I don't need it. However I have had offers since putting this auction up for over the buy it now price. So if it doesn't go for that. Or the reserve I will not be offering a "Second Chance"
