Description
Before DataHand started building their Pro II and Personal editions, they had the DH-200 and that's what model keyboard is. There are similarites and diffrences. The "touch" or gram force of the keys are very much alike, just one made with 2 small magnets per finger and one larger rectangle shaped magnet. The thumb keys feel much lighter to the touch, these thumb board keys are also made with one single magnet. The DH-200 does not have the 10-key mode but it still has the built in mouse, just the same. This unit has to have its own seperate power supply which it gets from the one included with the unit. The palm pads are molded on the plastic and have a thin rubber sheet that you use to put on the top of the units to rest your palm in. The current models have 2 sizes for the palm pads and they come off and on and can be washed and they also come along with the 10-key mode and the ability to program (the proII). Both datahands, proII and the personal come on a laplander and they have 2 plugs to the computer, one for the mouse and one for the keyboard. Both are currently ps/2. The additional cable is to connect the 2 hands together. The DH-200 cannot work with a usb mouse port or usb keyboard., both have to be ps/2, and the mouse is serial. The DH-200 is the same if not less gram forced as the datahand and the touch and grams are measured also to make sure you are using an eronomoic keyboard and happy using this model too. NOW PLEASE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS UNIT IS BLACK....,TROUBLE WITH MY CAMERA TO TAKE NEW PICTURES TODAY. THIS IS IS JUST LIKE THIS ONE IN ABOVE PHOTO, JUST black molded shell instead of the white formerly used. Not too many black units were built and so this is somewhat more uniquie. Enjoy, I hate to let it go. My hands have really been hurting since they made me leave DataHand. I wouldn't have beleived it but I can see now not having my hands in a DataHand, all day, even when it was just testing and building. No DataHand now for me since January, and I now have daily pain, especially in my right wrist, hand, and forearm, right up to my shoulder. Well, check this out and I will be listing my last unit that started out as a sample used by HP.
