If you wish to use DHCP and want the Netopia to assign an IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS to your workstations (in Windows), select the options to "Obtain IP Address Automatically" and leave the Default Gateway section empty. If there is a Default Gateway listed, select it and remove. If IP Address Serving is not configured properly on the Netopia, DHCP will not work and your workstation will not be able to obtain an IP Address.
